La guajira is a peninsula located in the extreme north of Colombia. This unique place is full of contrasts between sea, sand, coal and salt. Cradle and home of the Wayuu culture, la Guajira is mixed with fantasy and the most artistic hammocks, backpacks and other beautiful handmade crafts.
DAY 1: RIOHACHA | MANAURE | CABO DE LA VELA
We will start this adventure from the city of Riohacha, from which we will head to Cabo de la Vela. On the way, we will visit Uribia, the indigenous capital of Colombia and then we will continue to Manaure, where salt is processed and collected. After enjoying lunch, we will visit the Pilón de Azúcar and there, we can enjoy a dip in the sea. To end the day, we will go to the Lighthouse where we will appreciate the beautiful sunset.

DAY 2: CABO DE LA VELA | TAROA DUNES | PUNTA GALLINAS
We will leave for Punta Gallinas passing through the Puerto Bolívar Wind Farm and the Portete Bay. After enjoying lunch at a farm in Pusheo, we will visit the dunes and beach of Taroa; an incredible place where gold dunes are found with the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. We will finish the day at the Punta Gallinas Lighthouse, the northernmost place in South America to appreciate another spectacular sunset.

DAY 3: PUNTA GALLINAS | PUERTO BOLÍVAR | RIOHACHA
We will have breakfast early to start the departure between 7:00 am and 8:00 am for Uribía in a 4 × 4 vehicle. We will then go by boat through Bahía Hondita and Pusheo beach in Bahía Honda and after, start our return to Riohacha.
