ZIPAQUIRÁ IS A MUNICIPALITY LOCATED NORTH OF THE SAVANNAH OF BOGOTÁ, ALSO KNOWN FOR HOUSING THE SALT CATHEDRAL. A CULTURAL, HISTORICAL AND RELIGIOUS HERITAGE THAT IS 180 METERS UNDERGROUND IN AN OLD MINE.
Zipaquirá is a municipality located north of Bogotá’s savannah, also known for housing the Salt Cathedral. A cultural, historical and religious heritage that is 180 meters underground in an old mine. We will start our tour to Zipaquirá from the hostel. During the journey we will see different areas of the city, and the beautiful landscape of the Bogotá savannah. We will visit the Salt Cathedral, the main square and the colonial streets of the town. Once we finished our tour, we will have free time in the village to have lunch. In the afternoon we will return to the hostel.
